A Book’s-Worth of Information for the Price of a Pattern!

If you've never quilted before but have a hankering to learn, or if you're and experienced quilter who's never tried foundation-piecing, Jambalaya is the perfect place to start. For the price of a pattern, you get all the information and the patterns you need to be successful, from gathering your materials to binding and labeling your finished quilt. Yes, there are even specific quilting patterns and instructions--not the "quilt as desired" that is typical of most patterns.

Jambalaya includes detailed, illustrated, and complete instructions for making four different wall quilts that can either stand alone or work in any combination as a series. While the cover photo shows the four executed in a contemporary palette, the traditionally based block designs lend themselves just as well to country colors, brights, batiks, pastels... whatever suits your taste or decor.

Jambalaya includes full-size patterns for the blocks (four basic patterns plus four variations) as well as for the quilting designs, all ready for tracing or photocopying. Tips and techniques for achieving professional results are scattered liberally throughout both the "Instructions" and the "Patterns" sheets, supplementing the easy-to-follow basic how-to instructions and illustrations. A materials list is also included, complete with suggestions for choosing fabrics and colors.

Price: $10 (includes postage to U.S. addresses; please email for price outside of U.S.)
